Hello, math students. My name is Martin and I love tutoring math at all levels. I have 9 years experience one-on-one math tutoring and yes, I’m really good at any kind of math you can name. But what’s really important to me is relating to and motivating my students. I call myself the “Math Tutor in Jeans™” to emphasize that I am young (27) and informal. While advanced math is my forte, I still feel a special satisfaction when a grade-schooler suddenly “gets it” and solves a homework problem themself. So if you’re looking for an older teacher with decades of teaching experience and a more formal style, you’ll find many fine tutors elsewhere on this site. But if you want someone who genuinely relates to the student as a peer and focuses on understanding math, not just doing it, I’m your guy. My first half-hour is free and I answer all inquiries.
